Mademoiselle Boleyn

If you know me at all you will know that I absolutely flove historical fiction. Especially when it revolves around Henry VIII and his court. "Mademoiselle Boleyn", by Robin Maxwell, is about Anne Boleyn as a young girl in the French court in the early sixteenth century. Its completely from her point of view. I've never read a book about Anne from her point of view at such a young age. This book was a wonderful read. I enjoyed all of it. The detail of how Anne felt that the author went into was fabulous. I was just as curious as the character of Anne as to what was going on around her.

I enjoyed this one as well. When you think about the world that Anne grew up in, her behaviour later in life makes a lot of sense.

I loved this book. I thought it was a nice twist on Anne. I mean we already know so much about her life with Henry VIII so I really enjoyed this take.
